Sripooja works as a scientific officer in the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Department of Atomic Energy. A graduate in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NIT Rourkela, she worked with Hindalco Industries Ltd to gain industrial experience before moving ahead to pursue Post Graduation from IIT Madras. Her passion for material science and her zeal to serve her motherland shine in her being a gold medalist at IITM and having turned down offers from international manufacturing giants. She is currently involved in fabrication of nuclear fuel through different routes.
At SBAEYSMS, she is part of the Scholarships Operations team.
She loves to sing and learn devotional music, and follow a healthy lifestyle through diet and fitness. She is an avid Sanskrit enthusiast as well.
